Cibola
National Forest is located throughout central and north-central New Mexico
and offers diverse terrain, lava flows, peaks above 11,000 feet desert
style terrain.

Sandia Mountain Wilderness:
This image faces East towards the Western slope of the Sandia Mountain
Wilderness.

Canyon Walls: These
brown canyon walls were covered with white snowy trees.

Winter Mountainside: This is a common sight in
the higher elevations of Cibola National Forest.

Contrasting Colors:
The white snow covered trees offer dramatic contrast to the brown hills
in this image.

Winter Meadow: The
snow and sub-freezing temperatures were quickly replaced with 70 degree
weather with sunny skies.
